Fava Ristorante Italiano is a beloved, full-service Italian restaurant located in the heart of Glen Mills, PA. Known for our warm hospitality, elegant cuisine, and deep commitment to tradition, we are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.

Position Overview:
This is a full-time, salaried position for a hands-on, working chef with a strong foundation in authentic Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate brings a balance of culinary talent and leadership ability, and shares our commitment to quality, consistency, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and participate in all aspects of kitchen operations
* Prepare and oversee the execution of Italian dishes with authenticity and excellence
* Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff in a positive and structured environment
* Manage food inventory, vendor ordering, and labor scheduling
* Enforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols (ServSafe certification required or willing to obtain)
* Maintain consistent quality and presentation of dishes

Preferred Qualifications:
* 5+ years of kitchen experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
* Strong proficiency in Italian culinary techniques and menu development
* Experience managing inventory, labor, and food cost controls
* ServSafe certified or open to certification upon hire
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Fluency in both English and Spanish strongly preferred
* A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and team collaboration

Compensation & Benefits:
* $75,000 annual salary (exempt, full-time)
