Seeking a **Analog Power Design Engineer** in **McLeansville NC** for Undersea Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing Undersea Communication systems. **Qualifications Required:*** **Active Top Secret Clearance**
* Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5\+ years of job\-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job\-related experience.
* High Voltage DC Power systems / Module design. Experience should include multiple power topology design experience from few watts to KW\+ converters.
* High voltage applications, power transmission systems, power electronics and HVDC technology
* Expert level understanding of electrical engineering computer\-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
* Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
* Circuit Design expertise
* Analog design and instrumentation (design and analysis)
* Feedback / Control systems experience
* Power System architecture and grounding
* Isolated Switching Converters
* Transmission Line Effects in power systems
* EMI test and control methods (MIL\-STD\-461, FCC / IDE / VDE, etc)
* Magnetics Design and High Speed Design experience are desirable
* Strong troubleshooting ability: must be able to diagnose a problem by narrowing the point of failure sequentially through components
* The use of specialized laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment for development, testing, and troubleshooting
* Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
* Ahead of technology trends with Research \& Development (R\&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
* Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
* Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
* Ability to travel as needed
* Agile experience preferred.
