**Overview**

NewPro Containers is looking for a creative, organized, and driven Content Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of content across our two ecommerce brands in the wholesale and retail/D2C plantscaping space. This role is a new addition to our marketing team of three (Marketing Director, Creative Services Manager, and Ecommerce Marketplace Manager) and is ideal for someone with proven content skills who wants to help shape brand voice and execution.

You'll own content development and coordination across our marketing channels, from product listings and social media posts to direct mail and email, making sure our messaging and product stories are clear, useful, and on-brand.

We serve a professional, design-minded audience—including plantscapers, architects, and home curators—who value clear answers, helpful visuals, and thoughtful storytelling. Our tone is “practical yet thoughtful, creative yet grounded,” and we want it to become even more visible and distinct as we begin to launch a full rebrand. You'll play a central part in that process, helping implement our new brand identity and ensuring our voice resonates with our audience.

**Who we're looking for**

* A strong writer with a knack for storytelling and brand voice
* Highly tuned in to digital culture and how people consume content online—especially in a visual-forward, commerce-driven space
* Hands-on and detail-oriented with solid organizational habits
* Comfortable juggling multiple content streams and deadlines
* Basic video filming/editing skills (phone camera and editing is sufficient for most uses)
* 1-3 years preferred of relevant marketing or content experience
* Familiarity with ecommerce or product-based environments a plus

**Job responsibilities**

Product Content & Maintenance

* Ensure product descriptions, imagery, and specifications are accurate, on-brand, and reflect the quality and craftsmanship behind each product.
* Source supplemental content from suppliers (images, videos, usage tips) to enhance product listings.
* Manage production and updates of product spec sheets and sales collateral.
* Coordinate with the ecommerce and development teams to ensure websites and marketplaces reflect seasonal campaigns and merchandising plans.
* Maintain library of photo and video assets, keeping them organized and accessible for the team.

Content Creation & Campaign Support

* Write content across marketing channels, including promotional campaigns, catalog excerpts, blog posts, email and SMS campaigns, social media posts, product stories, and direct mail.
* Deliver creative briefs to the Creative Services Manager and external creative partners; work closely together to execute campaign concepts.
* Develop and manage blog content that drives the right audience and helps them move from interest to action.
* Share content plans and creative assets with paid media partners; ensure intended implementation.
* Collaborate with our SEO consultant and apply content optimizations (metadata, headers, alt text, internal links). No technical SEO knowledge required here. HTML experience is a plus, but not necessary.
* Work with the sales and customer service teams to gather stories, user-generated content, and testimonials.
* Source and coordinate with freelance writers as needed.

Social Media & Video

* Create and execute on a content calendar that aligns with seasonal campaigns and promotions.
* Write scripts for and produce basic video content (product demos, how-tos, customer interviews, behind-the-scenes); coordinate with external partners on more complex productions.

Email, SMS, and Direct Mail

* Outline workflows and write targeted content for email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo, tailored to distinct customer segments and lifecycle stages.

**Schedule**

* Committed in-office days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with Thursday as flex day if preferred.
