JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The primary function of the Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is to plan, develop,
and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of
clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or other behavioral and
social/communication challenges. The BCBA also consults with and teaches instructional
team members regarding pro-active, educational, programming, and behavioral supports;
develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans; and collaborates with team
members, related services providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate.

Essential Functions

1. Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral
assessment measures and functional assessment measures.

2. Develops individualized goals and objectives for home, and community programs and
designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data.

3. Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable
behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation
of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives.

4. Teaches Clinical Assistants and Behavioral Technicians on the proper implementation
of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems and
all necessary monitoring and reporting systems.

5. Conducts regular caregiver and/or teacher training and consultation.

6. Is responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision
meetings with Program Coordinators and Behavior Technicians.

7. Meets regularly with Clinical Director ABA Services and notifies them immediately of issues
impacting client’s progress and satisfaction.

8. Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by
the Clinical Director of ABA Services

9. Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to state and federal
