Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative ServiceNow GRC/IRM Developer to join our team supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA) in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development with a focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in a mission-driven federal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules such as Authority Documents, Policies, Risk, Audit, and Control Objectives
* Implement and configure advanced ServiceNow components, including Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Flow Designer
* Develop custom workflows and integrations using JavaScript, REST, and SOAP APIs
* Perform data imports and exports using Transform Maps, Data Load scripts, and scripted automation
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions
* Work within an Agile development framework and participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Create and maintain process flow documentation and technical specifications
* Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to support continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

* 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
* 5+ years of direct experience developing and implementing GRC/IRM modules
* Deep knowledge of Authority Documents, Acknowledgment Campaigns, Risk & Audit processes
* Proficient in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and scripting within the ServiceNow platform
* Experience using App Engine Studio and UI Builder
* ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance
* Business Continuity Management (BCM) micro-certification
* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Familiarity with stored procedures, queues, and external system integrations
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Additional Information:

* This is an onsite role based in Baltimore, MD
* Candidate must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Public Trust clearance
* U.S. Citizenship or legal residency required as per federal guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
