Sr. Solutions Architect to support DoD Information Network (DODIN)
remotely out of
Ft. Meade, MD or Hill AFB, UT. We are seeking a skilled software architect to establish strategic solution vision and design of a complex cloud-based environment.

Applications for this job will be accepted for at least 30 days from the posting dateResponsibilities of the Solutions Architect:- Complete complex solution architectures, define requirements, and author design documentation that drive program results
- Work closely with Chief Architect, engineering leads, and customer stakeholders to improve efficiency and service delivery to the customer
- Engage with all technical teams on the program to establish logical and physical architecture, lead designs, determine priorities, scope workload, and oversee planning and development capabilities
- Shape new business opportunities by authoring white papers and RFI responses, conducting trade studies and analyses of alternatives, while proposing new innovative solutions
- Own the solution architecture for a large, cloud-based operations support system platform, taking charge of its design and responsible for delivering innovative technical solutions for the GSM-O program.
- Lead architectural design and technical planning, including roadmap development and the implementation of modern technologies such as Cloud (AWS), Software Defined Networking (SDN), AIOps, AI/ML, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
- Support the design, implementation, and execution of test cases and testing framework for the instantiation of infrastructure as code in environment to verify the quality of deployed code.
- Author and execute User Acceptance strategies, plans and scripts for the innovation’s deployment
Qualifications of the Solutions Architect:- Clearance: Must have active Secret Clearance
- BA/BS degree in related field with 12+ years of related experience or Masters with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Certifications: IAT II (Sec+CE or higher)
- Experience leading strategy development, architecture creation, design, development, and delivery of data driven capabilities, within a DoD environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive technological innovation and serve as an agent of change within an organization.
- Strong technical breadth and depth in support of the government markets, particularly in government network design, implementation, operations, and modernization.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, and experience designing network-based solutions.
- Experience architecting large scale cloud native architecture design utilizing industry security standards.
- Experience with data architectures and pipelines for structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data across various data repositories and data lakes.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, cloud computing, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with front-end technologies, UI/UX design, and Agile DevSecOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with AI/ML, Elasticsearch, and Kafka
- Familiarity with web services and REST APIs
Compensation of the Solutions Architect:- $130,000 - $155,000+ **based on years of experience**
